Enjoy a jam packed day full of adventure. Visit the Bio-diverse island of Ballestas in Paracas before making your way for a taste of the famous PISCO in the province of the same name PISCO. Finally, finish your day with adrelin pumping activities and the most amazing sunset view in Huacachina.

Pick up is at 5:00 AM from your hotel lobby in Lima. We drive for about 3.5 hours to the picturisque resort town of Paracas, making a quick stop along the way for a scrumptious breakfast (not included). Once at the bay port, we board our motorized boat towards the National Park island of Ballestas. Along the way we stop for pictures of the Candelabro,a depression on the desert floor similar to those found on the Nazca Lines.
Continuing on our tour, we arrive at the bio-diverse island of Ballestas. Take every opportunity to capture the countless marine flora that calles this island home. Look forward to spotting sealions, penguins and a wide variety of bird life. The island wall is covered in bird poop. This bird poop belongs to the special Guano and its collected once a year and exported for the use in the manufacture of explosives. After feasting our eyes on the all the spicies that grace this island, we head back to port for our next excursion.
Next, we start our short 2 hour drive to the town of Ica. Nettled at the foot of the town is a number of Bodegas for our Pisco and wine tasting tour. We visit atleast 3 of these wineries, learning about the distillery process of Pisco and wine and enjoy a few samples. Straight after our tasting, we had over to a local restuarant for our delictable lunch. Feeling tipsy and ready to concure the world, we had over to the desert oasis of Haucachina.
We arrive in the afternoon, depending on the season, just at the sun is getting ready to set. Our guide gets us suited and booted for our thrilling buggy experience towards our sandboarding tour. If you would like to Ski down the dunes, please request in advance. The buggy tour is full of speed and adrenelin, not the faint hearted. We stop for our sandboarding on dunes that reach 500m/1600ft for the perfect thrill. Driving through a number of dunes, we settle at the top of the dunes for an unparrelled sunset views, overlooking the town. After, enjoying sundowners we get back on our buggy for a return to Haucachina. Time permitting, you can stroll through the town, take pictures by the emerald lake and shop for some souvenirs.
Departure is around 18:30, arriving at your hotel around 22:30pm.

Our groups are only an average 4 to 6 people with a maximum of 8. However, for our Islas Ballestas tour, we have to join other groups, with about 12 to 15 per boat trip.
We require a minimum of 2 people to guarantee departure.

SECOND, we require a deposit of $53.00 USD per person in order to purchase a permit for the Lares trek Machu Picchu. You can make you deposit by clicking on the VISA or PAYPAL symbols on the top of our home page, or you can click on the VISA or PAYPAL symbols on our booking page.
If you would like to avoid the high credit card fees in Peru, you may pay in cash at our office (US dollars or Peruvian soles) here in Cusco. There are many ATMS within the historical center to withdraw money. You can also pay by VISA or PAYPAL online but you will have to pay a 5.5% service fee, charged by VISA and PAYPAL. To pay your balance through PAYPAL, you need to log into your PAYPAL account and use our email address samtravelperu@gmail.com to complete your payment
